Aleksander, a Partner in the Vienna and Warsaw offices, joined Syntaxis in 2011. He sources and executes deals across the Firm’s target geographies and has led the Firm’s investments in TES Vsetín and Expert Petroleum. He also assisted in the eSKY, Polflam, Loconi, and Trans Polonia investments.
Prior to joining Syntaxis, Aleksander was an Associate Director in the Central European Sponsor Solutions team of UniCredit, executing and managing prominent buyouts across a wide range of sectors. Notable Central European transactions include Multimedia, CCS, FiberNet, Nidan Soki, Axtone, CableTel, Euromedic and Ceske Radiokomunikace. Before the merger of Bank Austria Creditanstalt and the UniCredit Group in 2006, Aleksander was part of the Corporate & Project Finance team for Central Europe, working on large and mid-size syndicated corporate finance transactions, as well as project financing in the energy sector.
Aleksander holds a master’s degree in Commercial Science from the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna and studied Economics at Harvard University.
