Przemek is a Syntaxis Partner and Origination Committee Member. He is a founder of Syntaxis and heads the firm’s activities in Poland. Additionally, he has developed the firm’s expertise in the telecommunications and consumer finance sectors. At Syntaxis, he has led SMF I’s investments in Ultimo, GTS Central Europe, Kisan and Etos, and has assisted in the Axtone investment. He serves on the boards of Kisan and Etos.

Prior to Syntaxis, Przemek was a Managing Director and the Head of the Warsaw office of Mezzanine Management. He has thirteen years of professional experience in mezzanine and private equity investments in Central Europe. He joined Mezzanine Management in December 2000 and was, in particular, responsible for all of the firm’s activities in Poland, from relationship management, transaction origination and execution, to portfolio management. Przemek led three transactions for Mezzanine Management in Poland (Lux Med, Solaris and Zaberd) and one in Bulgaria (Jet Finance), and represented Mezzanine Management on the Supervisory Board of Lux Med, Solaris and Zaberd. Prior to joining Mezzanine Management, Przemek spent four years at Pioneer Investments managing their sponsored Central European private equity fund.

Przemek graduated with honours from the Warsaw School of Economics and holds a master's degree in finance and banking.
